Ajax Amsterdam Fans Acted at Tottenham Hotspur Headquarters

DBasia.news –  Ajax Amsterdam fans acted when their favorite team played at Tottenham Hotspur’s headquarters in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Wednesday (1/5) early morning Western Indonesian Time. When the match took place fans rioted outside the stadium.

According to reports from The Daily Mail, due to the difficulties, nine Ajax supporters have been secured by the local police. The injured were inevitable, as three policemen were reported to have been hurt as a result of the Ajax and Tottenham supporters’ disputes around Leicester Square and the Strand.

Since the match has not begun, Ajax supporters have indeed seen packed streets in the City of London. Supporters of de Amsterdammers -Ajax’s nickname- it seems very enthusiastic to see their team appear in the semifinals of the most prestigious European club competition.

Moreover, for nearly 22 years Ajax has never felt the Champions League semifinals, so the supporters of the team did not want to lose the moment. Therefore they were willing to go far from Amsterdam to London to support Ajax.

Luckily, the presence of Ajax supporters produced sweet results because the team made by Erik ten Hag became the team that emerged as the winner in the first leg. But still unfortunate their actions that caused riots at Tottenham headquarters.
