Alex Grimaldo
DBasia.news – Juventus left-back Alex Sandro just stated that he wants to play in the Premier League. His statement triggers the European clubs to move and try to sign him, especially from England.
Chelsea are one of the clubs eager to sign him. Last season, The Blues offered 70M euro but Juventus refused it.
To anticipate the exit of former Porto player, Goal reported, Juventus sent their talent scout to witness the Champions League match between Bayern Munchen and Benfica to observe Alex Grimaldo’s progress.
The 23-year-old left-back is the alumni of La Masia Barcelona Academy on 2008-2012. In 2016, Grimaldo joined Benfica and since then, he is the left-back of the club. He has played for 82 matches and now becomes the prominent player for Rul Vitoria.
While observing Grimaldo whose contract would end in 2021, Juventus would try to renew Sandro’s contract ending in 2020. Just like Sandro, Grimaldo is the offensive full-back that often helps building the attack.
