DBasia.news –  Alex Iwobi is one of the young talents possessed by Arsenal. His action there was not spared from the observation of PSG legend Jay-Jay Okocha, who in fact was an uncle from Iwobi. Okocha had hope that his nephew would later defend PSG.

Alex Iwobi is a graduate of the Arsenal football academy. However, Iwobi has managed to penetrate the Gunners’ first team since the 2015-2016 season.

Although not always playing regularly, Alex Iwobi is quite reliable by Arsenal as a coating. The proof, on the 2018-2019 season Iwobi has appeared in 31 matches in various events.

From those numbers, Alex Iwobi is only collecting three goals for Arsenal. However, the Nigerian national team player has contributed seven assists.

Jay-Jay Okocha who was Alex Iwobi’s uncle also revealed his comments. Okocha felt it was natural that Iwobi had not shown the best performance at Arsenal.

“I think he has had a good career at Arsenal. It’s quite difficult for players from the junior team to be able to penetrate the first team,” said Jay-Jay Okocha.

“In my opinion, he was able to do it. He was able to show his character so he was able to achieve the best performance with Arsenal.”

“Everything depends on him, whether he wants to join one of the world’s best teams. Does he want to try other competitions. But I hope Alex Iwobi defends PSG,” Jay-Jay Okocha continued.

PSG does not need to spend big funds when recruiting Alex Iwobi from Arsenal. According to the Transfermarkt site, Iwobi only has a price tag of 25 million euros (Rp. 397 billion).
