Alisson Admits the Most Expensive Goalkeeper Predicate Is A Pressure

DBasia.news – Liverpool goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, said that he feels the pressure from the high expectation as his expensive transfer fee.

Alisson joined Liverpool from AS Roma in a deal worth £65M, made him as the most expensive goalkeeper at that time.

Chelsea then recruited Kepa Arrizabalaga worth £71,5M a few weeks later. However, Alisson still considers his transfer fee as a burden.

“I came here for a high price and some people expect to me to be perfect. It is not easy but I’m trying. I’m working to be better,” the 26-year-old player said.

“It is really early to say if I’m satisfied with how I’m playing but I’m working to be perfect,” he said.

“I am really happy with my move to the Premier League. I’m working really hard to help Liverpool to achieve their goals,” Alisson said.

Alisson created a positive start in the Premier League. He just got conceded five times from 12 matches.
