Alisson Is Thankful Moving to Liverpool

DBasia.news – Successfully brought AS Roma to the Champions League semifinal round last season, Alisson Becker is the most wanted player targetted by Europe big clubs this season from Chelsea, Real Madrid, to Liverpool.

After a series of complicated negotiation, The Reds successfully signed Alisson with £66,9M transfer fee. The number makes him as the most expensive goalkeeper in the world before replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga recruited by Chelsea.

The first season of the Brasilian player went really good. He was the main choice of Jurgen Klopp, replacing two previous goalkeepers, Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet. Moreover, The Reds are currently in the second position of the temporary table and Alisson just got conceded five times.

Responding to the impressive performance that he showed, Alisson feels more developed. Also, the 25-year-old player revealed the person behind his impressive performance at Anfield.

“John has proved to be not just a great goalkeeping coach but a great guy, a great person. Since I arrived I’ve noticed he’s loved by all here,” Alisson said cited by Goal.

“He leaves me very calm and relaxed on a day-to-day basis and we learn from each other’s work. He has helped me with things I can improve in on the pitch. I believe the relationship between a goalkeeper and the goalkeeping coach needs to be an exchange, with a great deal of trust, and we have been developing this as a team,” he added.

Not only talking about his relationship with The Reds goalkeeper coach, but Alisson also talks about his connection with another goalkeeper, Simon Mignolet.

“And of course there’s Simon [Mignolet], who has been at Liverpool a long time and a long time in the Premier League. He has been helping me a great deal in the day-to-day training and in games,” he concluded.
