Allegri Signals Pjanic Will Return to Juventus
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus coach Massimiliano “Max” Allegri hints at the possible return of Miralem Pjanic to Juventus.
Pjanic struggled in his first season with Barcelona and the club are planning to sell the player from Camp Nou. Allegri, who has worked closely with Pjanic, has indicated he is ready to bring him back to Turin this summer.
While discussing a possible free-kick taker for the upcoming season, Allegri revealed that the club is working on signing a right-footed free-kick taker.
“We have Cristiano Ronaldo, who is good at shooting from long range, as well as Paulo Dybala, who is good from close range,” Allegri said as quoted by Marca.
“And soon a good right-footed player who can take free-kicks will come along.”
Allegri and Pjanic enjoyed success together in Turin, where the Bosnian midfielder became one of Europe’s most sought-after central midfielders.
Quoted from Marca, following the 31-year-old player’s failure to replicate his performance at Juventus, the Blaugrana will listen to incoming offers. Moreover, Barca is reducing the club’s salary burden according to LaLiga rules.
Currently Pjanic is following pre-season preparations with Barcelona to fly to Germany. But he could return early if the deal with Juventus is realized.
