DBasia.news – Former AC Milan striker, Andriy Shevchenko, revealed his ambition to become AC Milan’s coach in the future.
During his time in Rossoneri’s costume, Shevchenko won the Scudetto and lifted the Champions League trophy. The sharp forward was second in the club’s all-time top scorer.
Since 2016 Sheva has been the coach of the Ukrainian national team but he is also aiming to work at San Siro following in the footsteps of Gattuso, Filippo Inzaghi and Clarence Seedorf.
“Milan is a club that is part of my life,” Shevchenko said.
“But now I am preoccupied with the Ukrainian national team and Gattuso is doing a good job.”
“Of course one day I want to be Milan’s coach. I have a special bond with the team, fans and team-mates.”
“Maybe someday I have the chance to train Milan.”
Gattuso is now under intense pressure as Milan has had difficulty in sealing the top four to play in the Champions League next season.
