Angel Di Maria wants to leave Juventus?

DBasia.news – Angel Di Maria, Juventus midfielder, was disappointed by the news that he would leave Juventus in the January winter transfer market.
In an interview with Conmebol recently, Di Maria had expressed his desire to return to Rosario Central, the Argentine club that became the beginning of his professional career before starting his adventure in Europe in 2007 and wants to retire there.
However, Di Maria’s statement immediately created rumors that he wanted to leave. Moreover, the statement emerged at a time when Juventus were having a tough time, especially after they were eliminated from the Champions League.
Di Maria insists, he still wants to be with Juventus until the end of the season. This Rosario-born player was brought to Juventus in the transfer market last summer, and was tied for a one-year duration.
“I’m not used to giving explanations when I read these lies, but now is the time to give them (explanations),” wrote Di Maria via his personal Instagram account as quoted by the Italian Football page.
“I don’t know who put out the rumors I was leaving in January. The statements you read and heard where I said I would retire at ‘Rosario Central’ (my first club) recently, those are statements I have made since the first day I arrived to play in Europe in 2007.”
“It doesn’t mean that I want to leave NOW, nor will I leave in January, please stop making up news, I am very happy at this great club, very happy in this city and when I am fit again.”
Di Maria asked Juventus fans not to be influenced by the news. According to the 34-year-old player, he always tries to give his best in every team he plays for.
“I will give the team the best of me as I always did when I played here, and at all the other clubs I was at,” stated Di Maria.
“I like playing football, I don’t like watching games from home. So please don’t believe everything you read, because it doesn’t help. It just tarnishes my name and the name of the club.”
