Antonio Rudiger is too good to pass up by Real Madrid

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Real Madrid are seriously considering signing Antonio Rudiger this summer. The Chelsea defender is considered Los Blancos too good to pass up.

Rudiger’s fortunes changed drastically after Thomas Tuchel was appointed Chelsea manager in January 2021. Since then, he has become one of the best central defenders in Europe.

Even though Rudiger’s fate had swayed before. Chelsea, who were handled by Frank Lampard, even tried to loan him to another club as he was not used.

Rudiger will be on a free transfer at the end of the season. Chelsea’s efforts to extend his contract never yielded results.

This condition has made Rudiger targeted by many clubs. Madrid became the most interested.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Madrid will not miss the opportunity to sign Rudiger for free. Although they already have a formidable center-back duo in David Alaba and Eder Militao.

Rudiger’s arrival will not significantly affect Madrid’s transfer policy. The Spanish giants did try to bring in two young bombers, namely Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Just like Rudiger, Mbappe can be brought in for free. While Madrid must prepare funds of around €75 million to redeem Haaland’s release clause from Borussia Dortmund.

Last summer, Madrid signed Alaba from Bayern Munich for free. The decision proved to be accurate as the Austrian player appeared impressively.

It is possible that this encourages Carlo Ancelotti’s team to insist on pursuing Rudiger. Madrid’s big name will also be a special attraction that is difficult for any player to refuse.
