Arrigo Sacchi’s Prediction on Maurizio Sarri’s Progress at Juventus

Sarri won the Europa League title with Chelsea at the end of the 2018/19 season and finished third in the Premier League. AC Milan’s legendary coach, Arrigo Sacchi, considers that Sarri will experience similar difficulties at Juventus. Sacchi believes that the approach that earned him praise when he became Napoli’s main coach would be difficult to accept at Juve.

“(Maurizio) Sarri will clearly experience difficulties at Juventus, as he will try to apply new ideas and things like that are not always acceptable to the players. “Juventus need to provide support to Sarri, just as Silvio Berlusconi gave when I came to AC Milan in 1980 when I arrived at the club,” said Arrigo Sacchi in an interview quoted from Football Italia.

Although saying that Sarri will experience difficulties, Sacchi also said that La Vecchia Signora took the right step when appointing him as a new coach. Sacchi feels that Sarri can be a figure who can start a significant change in Italian football in the near future.
