Arsenal and Valencia are Equally Confident In the Europa League Final

DBasia.news –  Arsenal beat Valencia 3-1 in the Europa League semi-final first leg. But both coaches were equally confident the opportunity was still wide open.

Arsenal coach Unai Emery is very careful about the chances of his team reaching the final of the competition this month in Baku ahead of the second leg at the Mestalla Stadium, Valencia, next week.

“This is indeed a good result, but the second leg will be very heavy and may be different. I think this time the chances are 50-50,” Emery said.

Valencia manager Marcelino Garcia seemed to agree with Unai’s view. “I don’t think any Valencia fans think they are stronger than us. We enjoy and are optimistic. If our supporters are behind us and things are going well, then we can win next week.

Arsenal played poorly when they played outside their home matches at the Emirates Stadium throughout the season, conceding 10 goals in their last four matches in all competitions.

Winning the Europa League will be the most convincing route in reaching the Champions League next season because both teams currently occupy positions outside the top four of each league.
