Arsenal are running out of strategy, Mikel Arteta refuse to stay silent

DBasia.news – Arsenal seems to have run out of strategy after losing to PSV Eindhoven in the 2022-2023 Europa League group stage. This poor trend is prohibited by the coach, Mikel Arteta.
In the match that took place at the Philips Stadium, Thursday (27/10) evening, Arsenal lost 0-2 to PSV. This defeat made the Gunners fail to lock the status of group A winners to qualify automatically for the last 16.
Arsenal actually appeared dominant in this match. However, PSV were more effective in taking advantage of opportunities.
Joey Veerman opened the scoring for the hosts in the 55th minute. Eight minutes later, it was Luuk de Jong’s turn to break into Arsenal’s goal.
Throughout this season, PSV became the second team to beat Arsenal in all competitions. One other team is Manchester United.
Arsenal have failed to win two matches in a row. At the end of last week, they were held to a draw by Southampton in the 2022-2023 Premier League.
Arteta realized his team was starting to experience a decline in performance. That’s why he’s trying to get this team back on track.
“This is the end of long-distance running (the winning trend). Now it’s time to reset and analyze what happened,” Arteta said after the game.
“Without question, PSV deserved to win, we weren’t anywhere near our level today. When you play like that against top teams it’s challenging to win.”
Arsenal are one of the teams with impressive performances since the start of the 2022-2023 season. The North London club is still at the top of the Premier League standings.
But Arsenal’s consistency to continue to be at the highest level has began to be tested. This is a big challenge for Arteta to prove his quality as a top manager.
“It is my responsibility to get the best out of the players. They are great and are playing at a level that maybe nobody expected.”
“Now it’s up to me to get the best out of them.”
