Unai Emery
DBasia.news – Arsenal coach Unai Emery admitted his relief considering the success of his team to defeat Qarabaq in the qualification of Group E in Europa League. Apparently, Emery believed Qarabag as the strong one.
Emery revealed the winning of Arsenal was related closely to the anticipation toward the opponent. Emery believed his team were successful in preventing Qarabag from presenting the best performance.
“We analyzed a number of Qarabag matches in Europe and the domestic league. They played well against Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid could not win their opponents,” Emery said.
“It helps us grind out results in difficult matches, to keep our idea to continue to push, to make the counter with the ball,” he added.

Arsenal won despite the absence of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette just became the substitute player in the second half.
Nevertheless, Emery believed the victory against Qarabag was achieved by Arsenal after a difficult match.
“Qarabag is an ambitious team and we have to try hard in the match. Even so, in the end, we can achieve the desired results,” Emery added.
Due to this victory achieved by three debut goals from Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Emile Smith-Rowe, and Matteo Guendouzi, Arsenal stay in the top of Group E temporary standing with six points.
In the upcoming match on October 25, Arsenal will visit Sporting Lisbon home.
