Arsenal Director Talks About Mesut Ozil

DBasia.news –  The fate of Mesut Ozil at Arsenal is uncertain. The German player is rarely played by Unai Emery. But Sports Director Raul Sanllehi tolerated this because he had a strong cause.

Raul Sanllehi called the performance during training as a factor that makes Mesut Ozil currently knocked out of Arsenal’s core squad.

“Unai always provides the opportunity to play to those who work hard during training sessions,” said Raul Sanllehi.

“This does not mean he is lazy. However, other players work harder so that they are more appropriate.”

Apart from that, Mesut Ozil doesn’t seem to be included in Unai Emery’s plan. This season, he put more trust in Joe Willock and on loan from Real Madrid, Dani Ceballos.
