DBasia.news – Arsenal signed the new contract with the Germany apparel company, Adidas, starting from July 2019.
Adidas would replace Puma whose five-year contract with the North London club would end this season.
British media reported the new partnership is worth £300M for five years until 2024.
The £60M-every-year partnership will be in the third rank of the highest apparel contract in football, below Barcelona with Nike and Manchester with Adidas, worth £140M and £75M every year.
This also sends the signal of the end of 5-year-partnership of Arsenal with Puma, after two decades with Nike.
The last time Arsenal wore the three lines signature of Adidas was in 1986 until 1994 where they achieved the EPL trophies two times.
The British media also reported that Puma are ready to be the apparel supplier for Manchester City, in the £50M-every-year deal starting from 2019/2020.
