By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bukayo Saka managed to score the only goal of the match, as Arsenal beat Bodo/Glimt 1-0 at Aspmyra Stadion. To maintain their perfect start in the group stage of the Europa League.
The Gunners defeated Glimt by 3-0 on October 6 and they picked up an impressive win over Liverpool last weekend ahead of the clash in Norway.
Some clever interactions and luck gave Arsenal the lead in the 24th minute. Starting from Albert Sambi Lokonga’s pass, Saka released a kick that hit the leg of one of the opposing players and the ball went into the England international’s chest and then slid into the goal.
The hosts almost equalized in the 52nd minute but United States keeper Matt Turner made an excellent save against Amahl Pellegrino’s shot from close range.
Turner, who filled the number 1 spot for Arsenal during the Europa League, made a few more key interventions throughout the second half to help Mikel Arteta’s side pick up another three points in Group A.
Arsenal are top of Group A with nine points, while PSV Eindhoven sit second with seven points and Glimt in third with four.
