DBasia.news – In the last two seasons, Arsenal failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League which resulted in the absence of playing in the Champions League. This affected Arsenal’s financial condition.
The squad conditions that are lagging behind the top teams are one reason why the North London team has difficulty returning to the Champions League, club competition is the highest level in European football, but this situation can change at the end of the 2018/19 season.
At present the Gunners are ranked fourth in the Premier League 2018/19 standings, and under the care of Unai Emery they have a target to finish in that position, something confirmed by one of their key midfielders, Granit Xhaka.
“After Arsene Wenger left us, there are many things that have changed in this club. We are very pleased with the approach adopted by Unai Emery as a new manager and we are always ready to work hard. “Returning to the Champions League will be a significant step for us,” Granit Xhaka said in an interview quoted from Sky Sports.
The player who plays as a midfielder insists that he and his colleagues will fight hard in the remaining nine matches they will play in order to reach that goal at the end of the season.
