Arsenal want to redeem Yeremi Pino
By db-admin
DBasia.news – It can be confirmed that Arsenal are interested in signing Yeremi Pino, a Villarreal player. The player has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most promising young forwards in recent years, making 77 appearances before his 20th birthday.
The player has also earned a call to the Spanish national team, making four appearances to date and scoring his first goal for La Roja in a friendly win over Iceland in March.
His fine form has caught the attention of a number of big clubs, with Arsenal among those interested in him.
Yeremi has a release clause of 80 million euros in his current contract, but GOAL understands that Villarreal could be tempted to let him go with an offer below that.
It is understood the La Liga club would be open to accepting an offer worth around 45 million euros, although so far they have not received an official proposal from Arsenal. It is estimated that an offer will be submitted by Arsenal before the summer transfer window closes.
It’s not hard to see why Yeremi was able to steal the attention of those at the Emirates Stadium.
Following the departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Nicolas Pepe who has failed to shine since his signing, Arsenal are currently in need of new additions to the front sector.
Moreover, although Yeremi’s stats were less than outstanding last season, he still managed to score 7 goals and 4 assists in 40 appearances. The potential is huge, in keeping with the Gunners’ recruitment style in recent years.
