Arsene Wenger: Arsenal Failed To Recruit Jadon Sancho

DBasia.news –  The former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, revealed his former team almost got Jadon Sancho, but failed. Wenger expresses that the Gunners did not have enough money to redeem Sancho.

Jadon Sancho heads to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in the 2017 summer transfer market with a worth 7.84 million euros.

Sancho’s impressive appearance in Dortmund made Arsene Wenger regret failing to get Jadon Sancho while still coaching for Arsenal. Wenger considered  the 18-year-old was one of the best in his generation.

“This is an amazing story because the pressure on young people at an early age is very high. The second is pressure from all clubs,” says Wenger.

“I tried to take him from Manchester City when he didn’t get a chance. I tried to convince him to London and take him to Arsenal,” added Wenger.

“He is one of the best players in his generation. He can dribble the ball and also have arrogance. There is something that comes from big players. You can call it self-confidence, pride or trust, but it must be there,” said Wenger .
