AS Roma surrendered to Ludogorets Razgrad

DBasia.news – AS Roma lost 1-0 against Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League Group C opener at Huvepharma Arena.
AS Roma actually had more chances with 19 shots, 6 of which were on target, compared to Ludogorets who had 10 (3 on target), but the hosts played more effectively.
No goals were scored in the first half and Ludogorets took the lead in the 72nd minute when Cauly Oliveira Souza managed to tap in Jakub Piotrowski’s cross with a left-foot kick.
The Giallorossi had equalized in the 86th minute when Eldor Shomurudov’s header after using a cross from Lorenzo Pellegrini headed into the bottom right corner of the goal.
Two minutes later, Ludogorets finally sealed victory with Nonato’s goal through a right-footed shot from the right of the penalty box after receiving feedback from Rick.
In another match, Lazio managed to beat Feyenoord 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio led 4 goals without reply until the 63rd minute through the action of Luis Alberto, Felipe Anderson, and 2 goals from Matias Vecino.
Feyenoord had reduced the score to 4-2 after Santiago Giménez scored two goals in the remaining 11 minutes of normal time, one of which was through a penalty kick.
