Asking about Liverpool Title Fasting, Solskjaer Spreads Nervous Warfare
By db-admin
DBasia.news – This weekend’s Premier League competition will feature a big match between Liverpool vs Manchester United on Sunday (1/19/2020). United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, immediately spread a nerve war on the host.
He asserted Manchester United would not suffer the same fate as Liverpool who has been fasting the Premier League title for 30 years. Although the Red Devils are currently down, he believes the suffering will not last for three decades.
“That’s what we will do. We will work hard to make sure we don’t experience fasting during that time. Let it be a lesson for us. “They almost won several times and we cannot allow ourselves to go through 24 years without winning the league,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports on Saturday (1/18/2020).
“I’m sure we won’t be like that. It takes time, but we will not go that far,” continued the coach.
Related to the match that will take place at Anfield later, the Norwegian coach wants his team to show perfect play. He believes the luck of the Red Devils when facing big teams will continue this weekend.
“We need a perfect performance to perform there and win. We were able to beat Manchester City and PSG. We need to repeat that level again,” he added.
So far Manchester United has been the only team that can’t be beaten by the Reds in the Premier League. At the first meeting of the two teams at Old Trafford, they drew 1-1.
