Aubameyang is considered a factor in Arsenal’s blunt front line

DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur’s duel against Arsenal in the continued 2020-2021 Premier League, Sunday (6/12) at 23.30 WIB, was feared to be unbalanced. Admittedly, the Gunners’ front line is currently blunt.
The journey of the two teams at the start of this season is indeed different. When Tottenham scrambled for the top of the standings with Liverpool, Arsenal had difficulty crawling from the middle board and are now in 14th place.
From the defense sector, both teams actually had a formidable line of defense. Arsenal conceded 12 times in ten games while Tottenham are currently the best in the Premier League with a record nine goals conceded.
However, the gap between the two teams’ strength is visible on the front lines. Arsenal have only scored ten goals so far, while Tottenham have scored 21 goals or twice that.
One player in the spotlight of this statistic is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker is considered responsible for Arsenal’s blunt front line.
The highest paid player at Arsenal did appear sluggish at the start of this season. Aubameyang has scored two goals in the Premier League.
The incision is nothing compared to the Tottenham duo, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. As many as 16 of The Lilywhites’ 21 goals were scored by these two players.
Kane contributed seven goals while Son became the club’s top scorer with nine goals. Both of them also did not hesitate to provide assists.
The opposite condition was realized by Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta. He did not deny being envious of the performance shown by Tottenham.
“They are in a great moment, they are full of confidence and you can see how much confidence they have in what they do,” Arteta said as quoted by the Daily Star.
“When they get into trouble, they stick to the plan and believe that they will get the result. They have played well and that is the reason why they are in the position they are in.”
Arteta certainly will not allow Arsenal to become the granary for Tottenham’s goals as experienced by Manchester United. His ingenuity to dampen the waves of his opponent’s attack is now being tested.
