Aubameyang Reportedly Agreed to Extend His Contract with Arsenal
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The process of extending the contract for Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will soon be completed. The Gabon national team forward reportedly agreed to sign a new three-year work agreement.
Arsenal are trying their best to keep Aubameyang from leaving anywhere. Because, they have lost two of their star players, namely Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta entered the name Aubameyang into the list of the Gunners’ core players next season. Because of this, Arteta wanted Aubameyang to stay where he is today.
The 31-year-old striker has scored 29 goals in the 2019-20 season. Sky Sports football pundit, Dharmesh Sheth argues, this makes Arsenal want to keep the player.
“The negotiation process is still ongoing. I received information that this will be completed soon with the offer of a three-year contract,” he said as reported by the Daily Star, Tuesday (25/8).
“Now we have to wait that this will be completed and will be signed. Aubameyang has joined the main squad training ahead of the Community Shield match on Saturday,” he said.
Apart from defending Aubameyang, Arsenal are also moving fast in the hunt for Lille player Gabriel Magalhaes after elbowing each other with Everton and Napoli.
