Barcelona Aims for MU’s Young Players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona is reportedly eyeing on Manchester United’s young player, Angel Gomes, who has yet to sign a new contract.
The 19-year-old player has failed to enter Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team this season with only five appearances, including being played as a starter three times in Europa League matches.
Gomes has made four league appearances for the Red Devils but has never been played as a starter.
The player with the jersey number 28, will be out of contract next summer and since January he will be free to negotiate with other clubs that turned out to be of interest to Barcelona.
The former England U-16, U-17 and U-18 national team captain made his debut with Manchester United when he was coached by Jose Mourinho in May 2017, but has rarely been used by his team since and even became an unused substitute in a 3-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain in March this year.
