Barcelona are looking for ways to register new players

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Ahead of the new LaLiga season, Barcelona must be faced with a big problem. Barca need to find a way to register new players.

Barcelona are one of the most active LaLiga clubs in the transfer market this time. Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Jules Kunde are the players who arrived.

However, to this day, Barcelona are believed to have not been able to register these players for the new season. The reason is that Barca collided with the salary limit regulations imposed by LaLiga.

With time running out, Barcelona continue to look for ways. One of the paths that Barcelona will take is to activate the fourth economic lever.

Barcelona does have a number of terms to address financial problems. Barca have activated the first three levers thus earning hundreds of millions of euros.

The meaning of lever is how Barca release a number of shares in order to get fresh funds. Two of them were done by selling a part of Barca Studio’s shares and television rights.

According to the Guardian’s report, Barcelona are now planning to use the fourth lever. The Blaugrana will sell back Barca Studio shares by 25%. Barcelona are believed to be getting 100 million euros from the deal.

However, if it really happened, Barcelona could only register Lewandowski, Christensen, and Kounde in the opening match against Rayo Vallecano.

Therefore, reducing players salaries is challenging to avoid. The four players who became victims were Frenkie De Jong, Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

The problem is, until now Pique is the only one willing to cut his salary. Meanwhile, the other players still refused. In fact, some consider what Barcelona have done is a violation of the players rights.
