Barcelona beat Chelsea in chasing after Jules Kunde

DBasia.news – Jules Kunde’s transfer is still not over. Barcelona are still trying to defeat Chelsea to sign the player.

Kunde is in between Chelsea and Barcelona. Both clubs need the addition of a new central defender to strengthen their defense.

In the last 24 hours, Kunde has been leaning towards a move to Chelsea. That’s after Barcelona never competed with Chelsea’s offer of  55 million pounds.

But the situation changed rapidly. According to a report by Spanish journalist Gerard Moreno, Barcelona and Sevilla have now agreed a fee for Kunde’s transfer.

Barcelona moves in silence in the last 24 hours. Mateu Alemany as Barcelona’s sporting director directly led the operation to sign Kunde.

The transfer fee agreed by the two clubs is unknown. The amount is certainly not much different from what Chelsea has to offer.

Barcelona and Sevilla have not confirmed this news. But the deal should be announced in the near future.

If it really happens, this would be the second time Chelsea have been overtaken by Barcelona. Previously the Blues also lost to compete for Raphinha.
