DBasia.news – So quickly the situation has changed for Philippe Coutinho. Although not long ago at Barcelona, Coutinho has been rumored to leave the player’s transfer market, following the infrequent playing under Ernesto Valverde.
Philippe Coutinho is just one season away from joining Barcelona, but that doesn’t necessarily make him quiet from the transfer rumors, especially now in the 2018/19 season, he is no longer the main choice of Ernesto Valverde and often starts the match from the bench.
This situation later strengthened the news that Coutinho will soon leave the Camp Nou, not even a few who predict that the Brazilian player will leave in the 2019 winter transfer market which was just closed on January 31st.
Although he’s no longer Valverde’s choice, it did not necessarily make Coutinho deserted from the rival club’s prey, the latest news also mentions that two Premier League giants, Chelsea and Manchester United are ready to compete for his signature.
After choosing to be silent and reluctance to comment in the last few moments, now one of the club’s top brass, Guillermo Amor, hints that the defending La Liga and Copa del Rey champions still believe in Coutinho’s ability. Not only that, he also guarantees if the player feels happy at Barcelona.
“Barcelona will still give Philippe Coutinho a chance and he will use it. Coutinho always manages to prove his quality and is not afraid to take risks,” Guillermo told Goal.
“It seems that everyone is very concerned about all the things Coutinho did. I also feel sorry for him. But Barcelona are confident and believe that he will continue to strive to show maximum performance,” he added.
Coutinho was bought by Barcelona from Liverpool in the 2018 winter transfer market, the funds spent were also quite fantastic, 135 million euros. During his stay in Spain, the 26-year-old player has appeared in 55 matches with a score of 18 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
Although the club hinted that they still believed in Coutinho’s ability and did not intend to release him, the Blaugrana fans could not breathe freely, because the former Inter Milan player had also been told that he had begun to consider his future at Barcelona and did not close the opportunity to leave if he doesn’t return to the starting XI.
