Barcelona Don’t Want to Back Down in the Competition to Bring in Erling Haaland

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The current financial crisis has not made Barcelona feel insecure about competing with other big clubs in the hunt for Erling Haaland. The Blaugrana will offer the Borussia Dortmund bomber next summer.

Barcelona is in debt with a fantastic sum of around 1.2 billion euros, most of which are due soon. If they could not pay, the club which was proud of the people of Catalonia could go bankrupt.

But a tone of optimism was exhaled by one of the Barcelona presidential candidates, Toni Freixa. He believes he will be able to bring the club out of the crisis if elected in the election which will take place on March 7th.

Do not stop there, Freixa promised to bring in a new star to restore the glory of Barcelona. One of them is Haaland.

“(Signing Haaland) is very possible and must be done by Barca. Combine players who can make a difference,” Freixa told RAC1.

Haaland is indeed stealing the attention after showing productivity goals above average. not even 21 years of age is also an added value.

But Barcelona will not be easy to land Haaland at the Camp Nou. They have to compete with wealthy clubs who are also interested in using the services of the Norwegian national.

Some of the clubs associated with Haaland are Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea. The financial condition of the three clubs is certainly much better than Barcelona at this time.

This fact makes Freixa’s statement a complete nonsense. It seems like he only gave heaven’s promise to attract sympathy from the voters.

Moreover, Freixa did not explain in detail his strategy to make this happen. He chose to run a silent operation.

“We will never talk about players until we present them. This is a bad strategy because you help other clubs who step over you in negotiations at the table.”
