Barcelona have not given up on signing Dani Olmo

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Barcelona has reportedly not given up on targeting RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo. El Barca will submit a new offer in the upcoming transfer market.

Barcelona was forced not to extend Lionel Messi’s contract due to a collision with LaLiga regulations. In addition, acute financial problems has also made the movement of Barcelona increasingly limited.

In fact, to register new players, a number of Barca players had to reduce their salaries first. The decision to release Antoine Griezmann to Atletico Madrid is also believed to be one of the ways that cannot be avoided.

However, ahead of the close of the transfer market last summer, Barcelona are still ambitious to bring in players. Barca has targeted Dani Olmo to replace Griezmann and Messi.

However, negotiations with Leipzig were not easy. Moreover, Barcelona is also in a race against time.

According to Mundo Deportivo’s report, Barcelona will not give up on targeting the player. With a personal agreement reached, Barcelona will again submit an offer.

Meanwhile, although they have no intention of selling Dani Olmo, Leipzig is predicted to comply if Barca comes with an offer of 75 million euros. According to Transfermarkt, the Spanish national team player is valued at around 50 million euros.

Dani Olmo is no stranger to Barcelona. The 23-year-old midfielder played for Barcelona’s academy from 2007 to 2014. However, throughout his career in Catalunya, Olmo has never played in the Barcelona senior team. Finally he left for Dinamo Zagreb on a free transfer.
