DBasia.news – Juan Mata’s future fate is uncertain at Manchester United. Barcelona has monitored him and was ready to accommodate him, but, they were unable to fulfill Mata’s salary request.
Juan Mata is one of the players who will leave Manchester United. As, until now the two parties have not signed a new contract, even though his term of service will expire, June 2019.
Thus, Mata will leave on a free transfer. These conditions have made Barcelona interested in returning the player to Spain.
However, Barcelona objected that Mata joined in receiving a salary like today. The ex-Valencia gets a salary of 170 thousand pounds per week.
Barcelona believes that the amount is too high. Moreover, the opportunity to see Mata became a major player in Barcelona is thinning. In essence, Barca did not want to pour a large salary for players who in the end only become coatings.
Indeed, Juan Mata got a fresh breeze of air after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handled Manchester United. In fact, the player scored when the Red Devils faced Chelsea.
However, Manchester United are still indifferent to Mata. The Red Devils tend to extend the contract of British players such as Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young.
Meanwhile, players from outside of England, namely Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera still have not received a new contract. Reportedly, Herrera will head to Paris Saint-Germain.
