By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona will not be strengthened by Philippe Coutinho when facing Juventus in the second match of the Champions League group phase, Thursday, October 29th. It happened because he had a hamstring injury.
Barcelona has confirmed that the Brazilian star is unlikely to appear in the next match, against Juventus in the Champions League.
“The test results show Philippe Coutinho has a left biceps femoris (hamstring) injury. About how long he will be absent depends on the development of the injury,” said Barcelona’s official announcement.
In the match against Real Madrid, Coutinho appeared disappointing despite playing for 90 minutes. It is possible that Coutinho has already felt an injury on the field. The suspicion arises if you look at the player’s unusual movements.
This season, Coutinho has appeared in six matches, five in LaLiga and once in the Champions League. Of these six appearances, the player who last season won the Champions League with Bayern Munich has scored two goals.
Barcelona will travel to Juventus headquarters on Thursday (29/10) in the morning WIB. In the match, Juventus are still waiting for the results of the Covid-19 test from Cristiano Ronaldo. The star can appear if 24 hours before kick off the test results are negative.
