Barcelona Willing To Release Philippe Coutinho To Return Neymar
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be selling Philippe Coutinho to bring back Paris Saint Germain star Neymar.
Philippe Coutinho is currently on loan at the Bundesliga monster club, Bayern Munich. But according to the BILD report, last January, Bayern will not activate the clause of the purchase of Coutinho worth 102 million pounds because it is considered that its performance is still lacking for such an expensive price.
According to a report from Diario Sport, Barca is rumored to be using the former Inter player to press the price of Neymar. This is also to be done because PSG was reported interested in getting Coutinho’s services.
Barca seem to really want Neymar back to be able to strengthen the attack line. The MSN trio duet (Messi, Suarez, Neymar) a few years ago succeeded in bringing Barca to get the treble for the second time.
Not only PSG, Coutinho’s former club, Liverpool is also rumored to want to bring back the Brazilian player to Anfield.
However, Coutinho’s hopes at Barca do not appear to have completely faded because according to the same source, Barca coach Quique Setien wants to try to see the abilities of the Brazilian player in pre-season. If the performance was satisfying, the Catalan would likely give Coutinho a second chance.
This season in the Bundesliga, Coutinho recorded eight goals and six assists with Bayern Munich. Currently Bayern is still occupying the top position with 52 points from 24 matches.
