DBasia.news –  Probably it’s not the right time to talk about the chance to make James Rodriguez’s contract in Bayern Munchen permanent. As the on-loan player from Real Madrid, Bayern have the chance. But Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge won’t talk about that now.

James Rodriguez is in his last on-loan season in Bayern Munchen. FC Hollywood have the chance to get him by activating the release clause.

But, so far Bayern haven’t decided either to preserve the Colombia national team player or let him return to Los Blancos.

“In our agreement, we have an option that we can make use of until 15th June 2019. We are having November now so I don’t think it makes sense to speak about it now already,” Rummenigge said reported by FourFourTwo.

Essentially, Rodriguez’s performance in Bayern wasn’t disappointing. The 27-year-old player could steal one place in the midfield. So far, he created 11 goals and 16 assists.

“I am of the opinion that James played great football last season. He was one of our best players as far as I remember,” he explained.

“The game in Madrid (in the Champions League in May) he scored the 2-2 and then all the Madrid fans were applauding him,” the legend added.

Unlike the previous episodes, Bayern Munchen are facing difficulty in Bundesliga this season. Robert Lewandowski and friends are in the fifth position with 20 points. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund lead the table with 7 points difference to Bayern.
