DBasia.news – Bayern Munich managed to qualify for the DFB Pokal Final after successfully defeating Eintracht Frankfurt by a score of 2-1 in the 2019-2020 DFB Pokal semifinal at the Allianz Arena, Thursday (11/6) AM.

Munich immediately played their best players from the start. With a 4-2-3-1 formation, Robert Lewandowski is again a mainstay on the front lines.

Frankfurt, who played as the guest team, tried to serve Munich’s game. Adi Hutter as the coach played the 4-3-3 attacking formation.

Unfortunately this strategy was not utilized in the first round. Frankfurt was forced to survive by Munich.

Munich has even opened the scoring when the game was 14 minutes in. A bait from Thomas Muller was successfully completed by Ivan Perisic with a header.

In the 28th minute, Munchen had a golden opportunity to double the advantage. Unfortunately Kingsley Coman’s kick in front of Frankfurt’s goal was thin of the target.

Three minutes later it was Lewandowski’s turn to achieve a golden opportunity. But his hard shot from inside the penalty box was still able to be thwarted by Frankfurt goalkeeper, Kevin Trapp.

Frankfurt was unable to do much in the first half. The 1-0 score to Munich’s superiority lasted until halftime.

In the second half, Frankfurt’s game began to develop. Andre Silva and his colleagues now have more control of the ball and created chances.

Munich themselves seemed lulled by the advantage in the first round. They lowered the tempo of the game.

This was finally able to be used by Frankfurt to equalize. Danny Da Costa broke into Manuel Neuer’s goal in the 69th minute using a wild ball in the penalty box.

As if the goal had revived the Munich players. They continued to take over the game.

In the end, it only took five minutes to regain the lead. Lewandowski listed his name on the scoreboard in the 74th minute using Joshua Kimmich’s pass.

This goal was ruled out by the linesman as Davies was considered offside before passing the ball to Kimmich.

But after checking the VAR, the referee endorsed this goal. The video showed that Davies was still in line with the Frankfurt defender.

In the remainder of the match, Frankfurt tried to equalize. Hutter included Bas Dost to increase the bang.

But the score 2-1 to Munich’s win remained until the fight was over. FC Hollywood successfully advanced to the DFB Pokal final three times in a row.

At the top of the party, Munich will challenge Bayer Leverkusen who in the other semifinals had defeated FC Saarbrucken by a score of 3-0. The final will take place on July 4 at the Olympiastadion, Berlin.
