Bayern Munich Not Interested In Signing Franke De Jong

According to the Bild report, Munich admits De Jong is one of the best midfielders in the world today. But buying him from Barcelona now would damage their balance sheet.

Munich is indeed known as one of the big clubs who are careful in the transfer market. Even though their financial condition is quite stable, they are reluctant to go out of their way to land star players.

This summer, Munich have spent big money to land Sadio Mane and Matthijs de Ligt. The move made Julian Nagelsmann’s team not have enough funds to hijack De Jong whose price was estimated at 85 million euros.

Munich’s attitude is certainly a breath of fresh air for Manchester United. Their chances of landing De Jong are still open.
