Bayern Munich Still Trying To Sign Harry Kane
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bayern Munich have not signed Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. But they did not give up and will recruit him next season.
The senior English player has been a target for Bayern Munich since before the departure of Robert Lewandowski. But in the end Die Roten failed to reach an agreement with the player.
Although this summer’s transfer window has closed, Die Roten still haven’t given up. Because the German giants intend to return to Kane in the transfer market next year.
Throughout his professional football career, Harry Kane has studied since at the Tottenham Hotspur academy. In 2011, Kane was promoted to the senior team but could not immediately find his place in the first team.
The Lilywhites had to loan him several times, starting from Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, to Leicester City. But since returning from Leicester in 2013, Kane has spearheaded the London giants.
The 29-year-old player has recorded 391 appearances for Tottenham with a score of 252 goals and 59 assists. His undoubted sharpness is certainly Bayern Munich’s answer to Lewandowski’s departure to Barcelona.
But Tottenham did not want to just let go of their assets to Bayern Munich. The team’s management even plans to extend Kane’s contract which will expire in 2024.
Bayern Munich also still has hope of approaching the player in the 2023 summer transfer market. The condition is that Kane has not signed a contract extension until the end of the 2022/2023 season. But Die Roten will have to forget their ambitions if Kane prefers to stay.
