DBasia.news –  Arsenal won with three points at home to Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium in the 32nd week of the Premier League, Tuesday (2/4) WIB. Arsenal won 2-0 and went straight up to third in the standings.

Playing at home, Arsenal appeared to attack since the beginning of the fight. However, Newcastle were able to provide resistance for the home team for the first 30 minutes.

Arsenal only scored when the first half left 15 minutes. It was Aaron Ramsey who scored the Gunners’ opening goal through kicking his left foot.

Left behind by one goal, Newcastle reacted. Salomon Rondon almost equalized the position one minute after receiving a pass from Matt Ritchie.

Ahead of the break, Arsenal almost doubled their position through Alexandre Lacazette. Unfortunately, Lacazette’s kick still hasn’t torn the visitors’ goal.

Alexandre Lacazette only added to Arsenal’s goal seven minutes before the game was over. 2-0 score for the Gunners’ win lasted until the long whistle sounded.

The victory has made Arsenal incised history. This is the first time the Gunners have won 10 consecutive home wins in the Premier League since May 1998.

In addition, these results extend Arsenal’s unbeaten home games in the Premier League to 38. The Gunners last lost at Emirates Stadium in 2016.

Most importantly, the victory has made Arsenal rise to third place in the Premier League standings. Unai Emery’s side collected 63 points from 31 matches.
