DBasia.news – Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah tested positive for the corona virus in a statement released by the Egyptian national team. After tracing it, Salah came to a wedding which was attended by many people.
Mohamed Salah is known to be positive for the corona virus after taking a test in preparation for the Egyptian national team against Togo in the African Cup qualifiers on Sunday (15/11). In the first statement, the Egyptian football federation (EFA) said Salah was the only player whose results were positive.
However, not long ago the news was deleted and replaced with information if three Egyptian and Togolese players tested positive for COVID-19.
“The health ministry laboratory indicated that three Egyptian and Togolese players were positive before tomorrow’s duel between the two teams,” said the second EFA statement.
That way, Mo Salah must undergo independent isolation in Egypt for the next week. After that, the new local authorities allowed The Egyptian King to return to England.
The Daily Mail reported that Salah attended the wedding of his younger brother, Nasr, in Cairo, a few days before testing positive for corona. The event made Salah interact with many people.
In fact, in the video recording circulating on the internet, Salah is seen dancing at a party by forgetting health protocols such as masks. Apart from Salah, the party was also attended by Aston Villa player who is also the Egyptian national team player, Trezeguet.
Now, Liverpool are anxiously waiting for the duration of Mohamed Salah’s recovery. After the international break, the Reds will host Leicester City, Monday (23/11).
