Being in a Difficult Period, Lorenzo Insigne Demands Napoli Get Back Soon

DBasia.news –  Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne hopes his team will soon recover from the difficult times being experienced at the moment. Insigne admitted that Napoli could not continue to play well consistently.

Napoli was only able to draw 1-1 with RB Salzburg in the continued Champions League match at San Paolo. The visitors took the lead through Erling Haaland, before being answered by Hirving Lozano.

“This is a difficult time for us at the moment, but we must stay focused and continue working,” Insigne told Sky Sport Italia.

“We realize that we cannot have one good match followed by one sub-standard next match. We are not consistent, but tonight we played well and tried everything possible, but couldn’t score. It was rather like a game against Atalanta.”

“We have to be more determined, keep playing good football and hopefully luck will eventually change. I saw a good response tonight from the team, including those on the bench and in the stands. The coach made sure we united and tried not to put too much pressure on us.”

“We know this is not a good period, but if we all think negatively and behave as if the ball won’t come in, it will spread. The coach is positive and we have to show his attitude,” Insigne added.
