Ben Davies is a role model for a young Liverpool defender

DBasia.news – Liverpool’s center-back crisis looks set to be a shining opportunity for Ben Davies, defender of second-tier Premier League club, Preston North End, whose career has often been on loan.
But it is this tireless fighting power that has led Liverpool young defender, Rhys Williams to look to Davies as a role model. Yes, long before the news that Davies was signed by Liverpool, Williams had already made Davies, who was only 25 years old, a role model.
It could be that Williams already knows about this transfer. Several weeks ago, Rhys Williams conducted an interview with Goal. On that occasion Williams talked about many things, such as his experience when he was on loan at Kidderminster, his impression when he was assigned to guard Harry Kane when he made his Premier League debut, as well as how to deal with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in training.
When asked about the role model and defender he admired, Williams gave an interesting answer.
“There is someone at Preston named Ben Davies. He’s been at Preston for a long time, entered through the academy,” said Williams, who is a Preston fan.
“He’s been at many clubs on loan, York, Fleetwood, Southport, Tranmere. Now he’s Preston’s most consistent player, even one of the best.”
For Williams, what Davies is going through proves there is always a way even if you have to stop by non-league clubs. “There you can learn the basics of the game, especially for defenders.”
“I make a player like Davies a role model because he has a similar career path,” Williams said.
The course of life is unpredictable. Now Williams can play side by side with his role model.
