Berbatov warns Kane about professionalism

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Harry Kane went the wrong way to leave Tottenham Hotspur. This statement was expressed by Dimitar Berbatov.

Kane has made up his mind to leave Tottenham. Manchester City is the club most likely to sign him.

Manchester City have reportedly prepared funds to hijack Kane. But Tottenham still rejected the offer as they had no intention of selling their main star.

The decision of Tottenham’s top officials seemed to have made Kane furious. He chose to be absent from the training schedule as a form of resistance.

This step is what Berbatov considered to be a mistake. According to him, skipping training only shows Kane’s lack of professionalism.

In addition, the attitude shown by Kane provoked the anger of fans. This has actually heated the situation more.

“I was shocked and didn’t think it was the right way. I never boycotted training, that’s the difference,” Berbatov told The Sun.

Berbatov’s statement became interesting as he had been in the same condition as Kane. In the summer of 2008, the Bulgarian player had forced his will on club officials to move to Manchester United.

However, Berbatov admitted that he never missed training. He only refused to compete in official matches on the grounds of losing focus.

“I didn’t play two games. It’s hard for me to admit it but I found the strength to say my thoughts won’t be there.”

“While training is easy because its behind closed doors. Most team mates will understand you, and it will be easy to release stress with banter and jokes.”

On the same occasion, Berbatov hopes Kane will return to training with Tottenham. This is considered to be able to expedite his efforts to leave.

Berbatov believes Tottenham will not be able to withstand the departure of Kane. But he hopes this transfer will happen as soon as possible for the good of all parties.

“Kane will disappoint people, especially the fans who adore him. Some would understand, others might never will,” continued Berbatov.

“But football is cruel. The pain (for the fans) will be greater than when I left.”
