Bombarded With Criticism, Maurizio Sarri Speaks Up
By db-admin
DBasia.news – In the recent days, Juventus often gotten sharp criticism for their poor performance. The criticism began when the Bianconeri failed to win the Coppa Italia 2019-2020 season. Unwilling to accept criticism aimed at himself and the club, Maurizio Sarri answered all the criticisms.
According to Sarri, the criticism addressed to his squad was too much. 2-0 victory over Bologna in the continued Serie A on Tuesday (6/23) could be a reflection.
Juventus were able to win at Bologna headquarters despite criticism during all the preparations. Even the insistence that Sarri was kicked out began to float.
“In football and in life there are always opinions and facts,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.
“If you listen to opinions, you think this team is devastated. If you look at the facts, we are at the top of the standings. This criticism is excessive and it can be a motivation for us to be mentally fit and even more physically,” he added.
Juventus will continue their 28th match in Serie A against Lecce in Turin on Friday (26/6).
