Bonucci Criticized by Juve’s Ultras

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Leonardo Bonucci, the Juventus captain, responded to the criticism of ultras fans, and he emphasized that he had given everything to help the team achieve satisfying results this season.

Previously, Ultras released indignant statements for Bonucci, especially after Juventus were defeated by Monza 1-0, a promoted team who are at the bottom of the table, last weekend. Ultras consider Bonucci not a leader.

Bonucci insists, nothing has changed in him. Criticism from Ultras is also considered normal. However, he does not agree with the notion of having no gratitude.

“Criticism and ungratefulness? My whole career has been like this. I’ve been through the worst moment of my life, and it doesn’t scare me,” Bonucci said.

“I’ve always felt like I was myself. For better or for worse, everything I’ve done in my career I’ve done while still being myself, whether at Juventus or the national team.”

“I personally feel that I have behaved accordingly. The most important thing is in the morning I look at myself in the mirror, and realize I have given everything, both for myself and for the team.”

After being beaten 2-1 at home by Benfica, Bonucci understands the disappointment of the fans, and he deserves the blame, given his status as team captain. According to Bonucci, Juventus are going through a tough moment.

Juventus are in crisis after in five consecutive games in all competitions they have only obtained 2 draws and 3 defeats. The notion for Massimiliano Allegri to be fired from the coaching position has surfaced.

The Corriere della Sera website reported that the club’s vice president, Pavel Nedved, wanted Allegri to be dismissed. But Nedved’s desire was countered by president Andrea Agnelli.
