DBasia.news –  Borussia Dortmund player, Achraf Hakimi claims he is ready to return to Real Madrid next season if Zinedine Zidane’s team needs him.

Achraf Hakimi spent the last two seasons on loan at Dortmund. He immediately became a mainstay of Dortmund at right-back position with a score of 10 goals and 17 assists from 64 appearances.

In this season alone, Hakimi has made seven goals from 10 assists in 36 appearances. Hakimi’s slick performance made him said to be returning to Madrid.

Moreover, the performance of Dani Carvajal has begun to decline at the right-back post this season. Observing the statistics of Hakimi, the 21-year-old player certainly has more value than Carvajal, as an alternative to Madrid’s attack next season.

Related to that rumor, Hakimi stated that he would be clad if he could strengthen Madrid again. However, he also must know whether coach Zinedine Zidane needs him or not.

“Real Madrid is a club I call home. I really enjoyed myself there and played a lot of games there. If Madrid wants me back, I will return. And if not, I have to write the next chapter in another great club, “Achraf Hakimi said at Soccerway.

“Zidane is the person who gave me the opportunity and confidence to be able to play professional football. I thank him for his belief in me and the way he has treated me. I will always thank him, “he concluded.
