Brain Aneurysm becomes the cause of death for the Young Atalanta Player

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Atalanta is in a state of grieve as one of their young players, Andrea Rinaldi has died. The 19-year-old midfielder contracted aneurysm of the brain.

Brain aneurysm is an enlargement or protrusion of the blood vessels to the brain. This is due to the weakening of the walls of blood vessels.

Rinaldi took his last breath on Monday (11/5) local time. He underwent treatment for three days in a hospital in the Varese area.

“As in the field, when you are always the last to surrender, this time you also had to fight with all your strength to not leave too soon. Your smile will always live in the hearts of people who have met and known you,” stated Atalanta.

Rinaldi has been at Atalanta since the age of 13 years old. He helped the Nerazzurri win the U-17 league title and the Super Cup in 2016.

This season, Rinaldi has been on loan at the Serie D club, Legnano. His death has devastated the club president.

“Representing the club, I convey my deep condolences to his family. We believe, Andrea will continue to be a fighter like he did here while fighting in the middle of the field to bring happiness to Legnano supporters,” said Legnano President, Giovanni Munafò.

“Every time Andrea comes to practice, he will greet me first. I will keep this memory my whole life in my heart. He is an extraordinary kid, an example for anyone in this club.”
