Bruno Fernandes is warned about winning the title with Manchester United

DBasia.news – Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke warned Bruno Fernandes. Yorke considers Fernandes’ title for best player to be useless if he fails to win the title with The Red Devils.

Over the last 12 months, Bruno Fernandes has had many positive impacts for Manchester United. He packed 27 goals plus 17 assists in 48 appearances.

However, according to Yorke, this impressive record must be wrapped in a title. If it fails, there is no meaning to the report card of the star player from Portugal.

“What he brings to the team is second to none. He is consistently a star player week after week. He has run the team and gave less energy at the start of the season,” explained Yorke as reported by Goal.

“Undoubtedly, he is one of the best players there. However, there is no point in being the best player if you don’t win something at Manchester United,” he added.

“You will always be judged by what you have achieved,” Yorke stated.

Yorke thinks that currently Manchester United is in a good position to win the title. The Red Devils were asked to learn from failures in the three semifinals last season.

“In this case, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in control of the team and the Manchester United fans are singing with joy. It’s not something that can be done these days. So it’s a great time for the team,” continued Yorke.

Manchester United are at the top of the Premier League standings after winning 1-0 against Burnley. Next, The Red Devils will face second place, Liverpool, Sunday (17/1).
