Bukayo Saka Carved Arsenal’s Records at Commerbankz-Arena

DBasia.news – There was one player who stole the attention when Arsenal won a landslide victory at Commerbankz-Arena, the headquarters of Eintracht Frankfurt, in the first match of the Europa League group. He is Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal ended the never losing record at Frankfurt at their headquarters with a landslide score of 3-0 through goals scored by Joe Willock (38′), Saka (85′), and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (87′). Frankfurt has also played with 10 players since Dominik Kohr was sent off in the 79th minute.
The Europa League event is usually used as an opportunity for big European clubs to rotate the squad and play talented young players. Unai Emery, who last season brought Arsenal to the Europa League final, did so against Frankfurt.
Saka was the young talent that Emery displayed in the match and he did not waste the opportunity. Not only scored, but Saka also gave two assists, five key passes, and managed to dribble three times. His operative accuracy reaches 72 percent.
All the statistical records make him Man of the Match. Saka also became the youngest Arsenal player to score in European club tournaments (18 years 14 days), through Aaron Ramsey’s record in 2008 when breaking Fenerbahce’s goal (17 years 300 days).
The great ability shown by Saka at the Frankfurt headquarters is troublesome for the host. Saka moves swiftly from one side to the next and forces the opponent to drop him to stop his speed.
Saka is not the only Arsenal academy product played as a starter by Emery. He was accompanied by Joe Willock and Emile Smith Rowe, plus Ainsley Maitland-Niles who dropped in the second round. Great performance that could make Emery think to play him in the Premier League.
