Bukayo Saka says His Beautiful Goal is not a Coincidence

DBasia.news – Bukayo Saka’s beautiful goal was in the spotlight in Arsenal’s winning match at home to Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (27/12) am, WIB. The 19 year old player claims his action is not a coincidence.
Saka appeared from the beginning of the match. Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta installed him as a right winger to fill Willian’s position.
Saka answered that belief maximally. He made Arsenal’s attack livelier from the right.
Saka did not play a direct role in Arsenal’s two goals in the first half. The Gunners did break into Chelsea’s goal with set pieces, namely Alexandre Lacazette’s penalty and Granit Xhaka’s free kick.
However, Saka’s role was very prominent in the second half. His goal in the 56th minute seemed to have killed Chelsea’s spirit to get up.
Moreover, these goals were scored in an extraordinary way. Saka tricked Edouard Mendy with a ball which lead to the far post.
This goal was mere luck as Saka seemed to want to provide a cross. However, this was denied by the goal scorer.
“I saw him (Mendy) get off the goal line, so I thought I could trick him!” Saka told the BBC.
Mendy seemed to intend to cut Saka’s cross. But he was actually surprised because the ball went straight to the goal.
This goal will certainly make Saka even more calculated by Arteta to become a mainstay on the right side of Arsenal’s attack. Moreover, Willian’s performance has been very disappointing in the last few matches.
