Callum Wilson and Gonzalo Higuain Might Be Chelsea New Strikers

Callum Wilson
DBasia.news – Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud’s inconsistent performances trigger Chelsea to find the new striker this January.
No wonder, Chelsea set the striker position as the priority in the transfer market. Indeed, Willian and Pedro also scored the goal in some recent matches, but it’s not enough if The Blues want to compete in the top table.
Currently, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri often places Eden Hazard as the center-forward. The Belgium national team player could conduct his role well.
However, Chelsea won’t depend on Hazard for the whole season. Chelsea are impressed by AC Milan striker, Gonzalo Higuain.
Gonzalo Higuain is the type of striker that Sarri likes. No wonder, they collaborated in Napoli. Moreover, Sarri made Higuain as the top-scorer in the Serie A.
Gonzalo Higuain
Despite the 6 goalscoring achievement this season in the Serie A, Higuain is not an ordinary striker. He was an accurate predator back in Real Madrid.
But, Chelsea’s problem is the negotiation process. AC Milan agreed to let him go, but Juventus as the owner haven’t granted the permission. Bianconeri would only release him as the permanent player with no less than £50M transfer fee.
The situation makes Chelsea changed the target to Bournemouth bomber, Callum Wilson. Even though he’s not the first class striker, but the 26-year-old player could score 10 goals this season. Besides that, Chelsea could sign him at a relatively lower price than Higuain.
Now, the call is on Chelsea. Higuain might be the best choice if The Blues want to see the impact instantly. Moreover, the Argentinian player just needs the right coach to find his best performance. Meanwhile, Wilson might be affordable, but his skill is not better than Morata and Giroud.
