Carlo Ancelotti believes Real Madrid will rise

DBasia.news – Carlo Ancelotti appeared confident that Real Madrid would bounce back following their shock 1-1 draw at home to Osasuna.
Los Blancos saw their winning start to the 2022/23 campaign end at the Santiago Bernabeu as Osasuna went all out to claim a draw in the Spanish capital.
Vinicius Junior put Madrid ahead in the 42nd minute with a long-range shot following a cross from David Alaba, but the visitors equalized after the break through Kike Garcia, who scored with a brilliant header following Unai Garcia’s cross.
Karim Benzema’s penalty hit the bar and bounced in the air in the 79th minute after he was fouled in the box by defender Garcia, who was shown a red card following a VAR review.
“The game has lost its intense rhythm. It was not a good day, but we deserved to win,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Marca.
“Things have happened. We came off a great run of results and now we are going to get them back.”
“When this team doesn’t win, it’s not a pleasing time. A draw makes us sad, but we will react immediately.”
With this draw, Real Madrid have dropped to second place in the Spanish La Liga standings, with Barcelona now leading on goal difference.
Real Madrid will face Shakhtar Donetsk in their midweek Champions League clash and a win would put them on the brink of a last 16 place.
